In recent years, the rapid advancement of digital technologies has significantly transformed various aspects of society, including public service delivery. This research project aims to assess the impact of digital transformation on public service delivery, focusing on how government agencies have adopted and integrated digital technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness in service provision. Through a comprehensive literature review and empirical research, this study examines the challenges, opportunities, and outcomes associated with the digital transformation of public services. The research begins with an introduction that sets the context for the study, followed by a detailed background analysis of the evolution of digital technologies in public administration. The problem statement highlights the gaps and issues in the current state of public service delivery that necessitate a focus on digital transformation. The research objectives aim to investigate the extent to which digital technologies have enhanced service delivery, identify the key factors influencing the successful implementation of digital initiatives, and evaluate the impact on stakeholders and outcomes. The study acknowledges the limitations in terms of data availability, time constraints, and potential biases, which may affect the generalizability of the findings. The scope of the research is defined in terms of the specific government agencies or services under examination, as well as the geographic and sectoral focus of the study. The significance of the research lies in its potential to contribute to the body of knowledge on digital transformation in public administration and provide practical insights for policymakers and practitioners. The structure of the research encompasses a systematic approach, including a review of relevant literature in Chapter Two, a detailed analysis of the research methodology in Chapter Three, a comprehensive discussion of the research findings in Chapter Four, and a conclusion and summary of the project research in Chapter Five. The literature review chapter examines ten key themes related to digital transformation in public service delivery, drawing on theoretical frameworks and empirical studies to provide a comprehensive overview of the subject. The research methodology chapter outlines the research design, data collection methods, sampling strategy, and data analysis techniques employed in the study. It also discusses the ethical considerations and potential challenges encountered during the research process. The discussion of findings chapter presents a detailed analysis of the empirical results, including the impact of digital transformation on service quality, efficiency, transparency, and citizen engagement. In conclusion, this research project contributes to the understanding of how digital transformation can enhance public service delivery and improve governance outcomes.
