Effective management of school resources is crucial for the overall success of secondary schools. Principals play a key role in this process as they are responsible for making important decisions regarding resource allocation and utilization. This study aims to analyze the managerial competencies of principals that are essential for effective management of school resources in secondary schools. The research will focus on identifying the specific competencies that are important for principals to possess in order to effectively manage school resources. These competencies may include leadership skills, financial management skills, strategic planning abilities, communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders. By understanding these competencies, school leaders can be better equipped to make informed decisions that will positively impact the school's resources and overall performance. Additionally, this study will examine the challenges that principals face in managing school resources and how these challenges impact their ability to effectively utilize available resources. Factors such as limited funding, competing priorities, and changing regulations may present obstacles to effective resource management. By identifying these challenges, school leaders can work towards finding solutions and improving their resource management practices. Furthermore, the research will explore the relationship between principals' managerial competencies and school resource management outcomes. By analyzing the impact of principals' competencies on resource utilization, budget management, and overall school performance, this study aims to provide valuable insights into the importance of effective leadership in managing school resources.
