In the quest for more effective and targeted cancer therapy, the development and evaluation of novel drug delivery systems have emerged as a promising area of research. This project focuses on the design and assessment of innovative drug delivery systems tailored for targeted cancer therapy. By enhancing drug delivery specifically to cancerous cells while minimizing damage to healthy tissues, these novel systems aim to improve treatment efficacy and reduce adverse effects associated with conventional therapies. Chapter 1 provides a comprehensive introduction to the research topic. It begins with an overview of the current landscape of cancer therapy and the limitations of existing treatment methods. The background of the study delves into the rationale behind the development of novel drug delivery systems for targeted cancer therapy, highlighting the importance of precision medicine in oncology.
