Cancer remains a significant global health challenge, necessitating the continuous exploration of innovative treatment modalities. This research project focuses on the development and evaluation of novel drug delivery systems for targeted therapy in cancer treatment. The aim is to enhance treatment efficacy while minimizing side effects associated with traditional chemotherapy. The study encompasses a multidisciplinary approach, integrating pharmaceutical sciences, biomedical engineering, and oncology to design and assess advanced drug delivery platforms. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research, outlining the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure, and key definitions. The literature review in Chapter 2 critically examines existing research on drug delivery systems in cancer therapy, highlighting gaps and opportunities for innovation. Chapter 3 details the research methodology, including experimental design, materials, techniques, and data analysis approaches. In Chapter 4, the discussion of findings section presents a comprehensive analysis of the results obtained from the evaluation of the novel drug delivery systems. This chapter explores the efficacy, safety, and specificity of the developed platforms in delivering therapeutic agents to cancer cells.
