While conventional pharmaceutical interventions exist, their efficacy is often limited and may be associated with adverse effects. In recent years, there has been growing interest in the potential therapeutic benefits of herbal supplements in managing chronic pain. This research project aims to explore the effectiveness and safety of herbal supplements as an alternative or adjunct treatment for chronic pain. The study will begin with a comprehensive review of the existing literature, examining the mechanisms of action, bioactive compounds, and clinical evidence supporting the use of herbal supplements in pain management. This will be followed by a detailed discussion on the potential benefits and limitations of herbal supplements compared to conventional pharmaceuticals. Additionally, the research will investigate the safety profile, potential drug interactions, and regulatory considerations associated with the use of herbal supplements for chronic pain management.
