Cancer remains one of the most challenging diseases to treat, with traditional chemotherapy often causing significant side effects due to the lack of specificity in targeting cancer cells. The development of novel drug delivery systems holds promise for improving the efficacy and safety of cancer therapy. This research project focuses on the design and evaluation of innovative drug delivery systems for targeted cancer therapy. Chapter one provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the research, and definition of key terms. The literature review in chapter two critically examines existing research on drug delivery systems for cancer therapy, highlighting key findings and gaps in current knowledge.
