Telemedicine, a rapidly evolving field in healthcare, has shown promising potential in revolutionizing patient care delivery, particularly in chronic disease management among elderly populations. This research aims to investigate the impact of telemedicine on chronic disease management in elderly patients from a nursing perspective. The study recognizes the growing prevalence of chronic diseases among the elderly and the challenges associated with managing these conditions effectively. By exploring the utilization of telemedicine technologies in nursing practice, this research seeks to evaluate the effectiveness, benefits, limitations, and implications of telemedicine in improving healthcare outcomes for elderly patients with chronic diseases. The research will involve a comprehensive literature review to examine existing studies, theories, and best practices related to telemedicine and chronic disease management in elderly populations. Through a qualitative research methodology, data will be collected from healthcare providers, nurses, and elderly patients receiving telemedicine services to gain insights into their experiences, perceptions, and satisfaction levels with telemedicine interventions.
