This research project aims to explore the intricate relationship between gut microbiota and human health and disease. The study is structured into five main chapters, each addressing specific aspects of this complex topic. Chapter One provides the foundational framework for the research with an introduction to the significance of gut microbiota in human health and disease. It includes a background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure, and definitions of key terms to establish a solid foundation for the subsequent chapters. Chapter Two delves into a comprehensive literature review of ten key aspects related to the role of gut microbiota in human health and disease. This section critically analyzes existing research, theories, and findings to provide a comprehensive understanding of the current knowledge landscape. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology employed in this study.
