The rise of drug-resistant bacteria poses a significant threat to global public health, necessitating the exploration of alternative antimicrobial agents. Plant extracts have long been recognized for their potential antibacterial properties and are increasingly being investigated as a source of novel antimicrobial compounds. This research project aims to explore the antibacterial properties of plant extracts against drug-resistant bacteria, with a focus on identifying potential new agents for combating bacterial infections. The study begins with a comprehensive review of the literature on plant extracts and their antibacterial activities, highlighting the current state of knowledge in this field.
