Selecting the right textbooks and reference books is essential for acquiring accurate and up-to-date information. Libraries are vital resources that provide access to a wide range of educational materials, including textbooks and reference books. However, the selection of textbooks and reference books in libraries can be a challenging task due to the vast number of available options. This study aims to evaluate the textbooks and reference book selection tools available in libraries to assist librarians, educators, and students in making informed decisions when choosing educational materials. The research will focus on assessing the effectiveness, user-friendliness, and relevance of the existing selection tools in libraries. By examining the features and functionalities of different selection tools, this study seeks to identify strengths and weaknesses that can impact the quality of book selections. The evaluation will involve a comparative analysis of various selection tools, including online databases, catalogs, recommendation systems, and other resources commonly used in libraries.
