This research study focuses on investigating the impact of sustainable agricultural practices on rural household incomes. Sustainable agricultural practices have gained increasing attention globally due to their potential to enhance food security, improve livelihoods, and mitigate environmental degradation. The study aims to evaluate how the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices influences rural household incomes, with a specific focus on smallholder farmers in rural communities. The research begins with a comprehensive introduction that outlines the background of the study, defines the problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the research. It also provides a clear definition of key terms used throughout the study to ensure clarity and understanding. The literature review in Chapter Two critically examines existing studies and theories related to sustainable agricultural practices, rural household incomes, and the interplay between the two. The review explores various sustainable agricultural practices such as conservation agriculture, agroforestry, organic farming, and integrated pest management, highlighting their impacts on income generation, productivity, and environmental sustainability. Chapter Three details the research methodology employed in this study, including the research design, data collection techniques, sampling methods, and data analysis procedures. The chapter outlines how primary data will be collected through surveys, interviews, and observations from rural households practicing sustainable agricultural techniques. In Chapter Four, the findings of the research are presented and discussed in detail. The chapter delves into the quantitative and qualitative data collected, analyzing the effects of sustainable agricultural practices on rural household incomes.
