This research study aims to investigate the impact of agricultural extension services on improving household food security in rural communities. The project seeks to address the critical issue of food insecurity faced by rural households, particularly in developing countries, where agriculture plays a significant role in the economy. The research will focus on assessing the effectiveness of agricultural extension services in enhancing food security outcomes for rural households by providing them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources to improve their agricultural practices and productivity. The study will be conducted through a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with rural households, agricultural extension workers, and other key stakeholders involved in food security initiatives. The research will be carried out in selected rural communities, with a focus on understanding the current food security situation, the role of agricultural extension services, and the challenges faced by households in achieving food security. The literature review will provide a comprehensive overview of existing research on agricultural extension services, food security, and related topics, to establish a theoretical framework for the study.
