**Abstract
** This research study aims to investigate the impact of sustainable agricultural practices on household income in rural areas. The importance of sustainable agriculture in enhancing food security and economic development in rural communities cannot be overstated. By adopting sustainable agricultural practices, rural households can increase productivity, improve soil health, and reduce environmental degradation. This study will focus on analyzing the various sustainable agricultural practices implemented by rural households and their effects on household income. The research will be conducted using a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather comprehensive data on sustainable agricultural practices and household income in rural areas. The study will be carried out in selected rural communities known for their agricultural activities, where data will be collected from a sample of households practicing sustainable agriculture. The findings of this research are expected to provide valuable insights into the relationship between sustainable agricultural practices and household income in rural areas. By identifying the key factors that contribute to increased income through sustainable agriculture, policymakers, agricultural extension services, and rural development organizations can better support and promote the adoption of sustainable practices among rural households. The results of this study will contribute to the existing body of knowledge on sustainable agriculture and its impact on rural livelihoods. It is hoped that the findings will inform policy decisions aimed at promoting sustainable agriculture as a means of improving household income and overall economic well-being in rural communities. Ultimately, this research seeks to highlight the importance of sustainable agricultural practices in achieving sustainable rural development and poverty alleviation. In conclusion, this research study on the impact of sustainable agricultural practices on household income in rural areas is timely and relevant, given the increasing focus on sustainability and rural development. The findings of this study have the potential to inform policy and practice in promoting sustainable agriculture as a viable pathway to enhancing household income and improving livelihoods in rural communities.
