Abstract
This research study aims to investigate the impact of sustainable agriculture practices on rural household income and food security. Sustainable agriculture is becoming increasingly important in addressing global challenges such as food security, environmental degradation, and rural poverty. The study will focus on rural communities where agriculture serves as a primary source of livelihood and sustenance. By assessing the adoption and implementation of sustainable agriculture practices in these communities, the research aims to provide insights into their effects on household income and food security. The project will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather data from rural households practicing sustainable agriculture. The research will also consider factors such as access to resources, training, market opportunities, and government policies that influence the adoption of sustainable practices. Through statistical analysis and thematic coding, the study will evaluate the relationship between sustainable agriculture practices and household income, as well as food security indicators such as dietary diversity and food availability. Findings from this research are expected to contribute valuable knowledge to policymakers, agricultural practitioners, and rural communities on the benefits and challenges of sustainable agriculture. By understanding the impact of sustainable practices on rural household income and food security, stakeholders can make informed decisions to promote sustainable agricultural development and improve the well-being of rural populations. Ultimately, this study seeks to advance the discourse on sustainable agriculture and its role in enhancing livelihoods and food security in rural areas.
