This research project aims to assess the impact of sustainable agricultural practices on enhancing food security in rural communities. With the increasing global population and the challenges posed by climate change, ensuring food security has become a critical issue, particularly in rural areas where agriculture is the primary source of livelihood. The study will focus on evaluating various sustainable agricultural practices such as organic farming, agroforestry, crop diversification, and water resource management in selected rural communities. The research will be conducted through a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data analysis and qualitative interviews with farmers and agricultural experts. The primary objective is to identify the most effective sustainable agricultural practices that can improve food production, increase resilience to climate change, and enhance food security in rural communities. The study will also assess the challenges and limitations faced by farmers in adopting sustainable practices and explore potential solutions to overcome these barriers. The findings of this research will contribute to the existing knowledge on sustainable agricultural practices and their impact on food security in rural areas. It is expected that the results will provide valuable insights for policymakers, agricultural extension services, and community leaders to promote the adoption of sustainable practices and support food security initiatives in rural communities.
