Project Abstract

The abstract for the research project on "Growth and development of Mushin Local Government Area of Lagos State (1976-2013)" is as follows This research project aims to investigate the growth and development of Mushin Local Government Area in Lagos State from 1976 to 2013. Mushin is one of the 20 Local Government Areas in Lagos State, Nigeria, and has experienced significant changes over the years. The study will examine the historical background of Mushin, its demographic characteristics, economic activities, infrastructure development, social amenities, and governance structure during the period under review. The research will utilize both primary and secondary sources of data to provide a comprehensive analysis of the growth and development of Mushin Local Government Area. Primary data will be collected through interviews, surveys, and direct observations, while secondary data will be obtained from existing literature, reports, and official documents. The data collected will be analyzed using qualitative and quantitative research methods to identify trends, patterns, and factors influencing the growth and development of Mushin.
