Abstract
This study aims to assess the influence of toys on the cognitive function of pre-school children. Toys play a crucial role in the development of cognitive skills such as problem-solving, creativity, and spatial awareness in young children. The research will focus on how different types of toys impact various aspects of cognitive function in pre-schoolers. By examining the relationship between toy types and cognitive development, this study seeks to provide valuable insights for parents, educators, and toy manufacturers. The research will employ both qualitative and quantitative methods to gather data. Observations will be conducted in pre-school settings to assess how children interact with different toys and the cognitive skills they employ during play. Additionally, surveys and interviews will be conducted with parents and educators to gather their perspectives on the impact of toys on cognitive development. The study will categorize toys into different types such as building blocks, puzzles, pretend play toys, and electronic toys. Each category will be analyzed to determine its influence on specific cognitive functions. For example, building blocks are expected to enhance spatial awareness and problem-solving skills, while pretend play toys may stimulate creativity and social skills development. Data analysis will involve comparing the cognitive skills exhibited by children playing with different types of toys. By identifying patterns and correlations between toy types and cognitive functions, the study aims to provide evidence-based recommendations on the selection of toys for optimal cognitive development in pre-school children.
