Coastal erosion is a significant environmental issue that has been exacerbated by the effects of climate change. This research project seeks to analyze the impact of climate change on coastal erosion patterns in various regions around the world. The study aims to investigate the relationship between changing climatic conditions and the rates of erosion along coastlines, considering factors such as sea level rise, extreme weather events, and human activities. The research will begin with a comprehensive review of existing literature on coastal erosion, climate change, and their interconnections. This literature review will provide a solid foundation for understanding the current state of knowledge in this field and identifying gaps that the present study aims to address. Subsequently, the research methodology will be outlined, detailing the approaches and tools that will be utilized to collect and analyze data on coastal erosion patterns in relation to climate change. The methodology will include field surveys, remote sensing techniques, GIS analysis, and statistical modeling to assess the extent and severity of erosion in different coastal environments. The findings of the study will be presented and discussed in detail in Chapter Four.
