This research project aims to investigate the attitudes of undergraduate youths toward democratic values and explore the implications of these attitudes for social studies education. The study will utilize a mixed-methods approach, combining surveys and focus group interviews to gather data from undergraduate students in various academic disciplines. By examining the perceptions, beliefs, and behaviors of young adults in relation to democratic principles such as equality, freedom, justice, and participation, this research seeks to provide insights into the role of education in shaping democratic citizenship. The findings of this study will contribute to our understanding of how undergraduate youths perceive and engage with democratic values in contemporary society. By analyzing the factors that influence students' attitudes toward democracy, such as political socialization, cultural background, and educational experiences, this research will offer valuable implications for social studies educators. Understanding the attitudes of young adults toward democratic values is essential for promoting active citizenship and civic engagement among the next generation of leaders.
