Abstract
Tele-dentistry, the remote delivery of dental care services using telecommunication technologies, has gained momentum in recent years as a potential solution to improve access to oral health care. This research project aims to assess the effectiveness of tele-dentistry in enhancing access to oral health care services. The study will explore the impact of tele-dentistry on patient outcomes, cost-effectiveness, and patient satisfaction in comparison to traditional in-person dental care. The research will begin with a comprehensive review of existing literature on tele-dentistry, including its history, evolution, and current applications in oral health care delivery. This literature review will highlight the benefits and challenges associated with tele-dentistry implementation, as well as its potential to address disparities in oral health care access. The methodology chapter will detail the research design, data collection methods, and analysis techniques employed in this study. A mixed-methods approach will be utilized, including surveys, interviews, and quantitative data analysis to assess the effectiveness of tele-dentistry from multiple perspectives. The discussion of findings chapter will present the results of the study, focusing on key outcomes such as patient satisfaction, treatment outcomes, and cost-effectiveness.
