Traditional treatment methods involve scaling, root planing, and surgical interventions, but emerging technologies like laser therapy offer a minimally invasive alternative with potential benefits. The research will begin with a comprehensive review of the existing literature on periodontal disease, its etiology, progression, and conventional treatment modalities. This background will establish the context for evaluating the potential of laser therapy as an innovative approach to managing periodontal disease. The study will explore the mechanisms of action of laser therapy in periodontal treatment and compare its effectiveness with traditional methods through a comparative analysis of clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness.
