Project Abstract

Abstract
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small non-coding RNA molecules that play crucial roles in regulating gene expression at the post-transcriptional level. Dysregulation of miRNAs has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer. In this study, we aimed to investigate the role of miRNAs in regulating gene expression in cancer cells, with a focus on understanding their impact on cancer progression and potential therapeutic implications. The research methodology involved a comprehensive literature review to identify key miRNAs involved in cancer development and progression. Through bioinformatics analysis, we analyzed the target genes of these miRNAs and their functional roles in cancer pathways. Experimental validation using cell culture models and molecular techniques was also conducted to confirm the regulatory effects of selected miRNAs on target genes. The findings of this study revealed a complex network of interactions between miRNAs and target genes in cancer cells, highlighting the importance of specific miRNAs in driving cancer phenotypes.
