The integration of technology with traditional art techniques has become a prominent trend in contemporary design practices. This research project aims to explore the intersection of technology and traditional art techniques in the context of contemporary design, examining the impact of this fusion on creative processes, aesthetic outcomes, and cultural significance. Through a comprehensive literature review, this study investigates the historical background and theoretical frameworks underpinning the convergence of technology and traditional art techniques. The research methodology involves a qualitative approach, utilizing case studies and interviews with designers and artists who have embraced this hybrid approach in their practice. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, and structure of the research. It also includes definitions of key terms to establish a clear understanding of the research context. Chapter Two delves into a detailed literature review, analyzing ten key themes related to the integration of technology and traditional art techniques in contemporary design. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology, detailing the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, ethical considerations, and limitations of the study. It also discusses the selection criteria for case studies and interviews, as well as the rationale behind choosing these methods to investigate the research questions. In Chapter Four, the findings of the research are presented and discussed in depth, focusing on seven key aspects that emerged from the analysis of case studies and interviews.
