Project Abstract

Abstract
The aim of this research study was to investigate the effects of different feeding regimens on the growth performance of pigs. Pigs are an important livestock species for meat production, and optimizing their growth performance is crucial for efficient farming practices and economic viability. This study sought to contribute to the existing body of knowledge by evaluating how various feeding regimens impact the growth rates, feed efficiency, and overall performance of pigs. The research was conducted over a period of six months, during which a total of 100 pigs were divided into five groups, each receiving a different feeding regimen. The feeding regimens included a control group fed a standard commercial diet, a high-protein diet group, a high-fiber diet group, a low-energy diet group, and an experimental group with a combination of different feed ingredients. The pigs were monitored closely for parameters such as average daily weight gain, feed intake, feed conversion ratio, and overall health status. The results of the study revealed significant differences in growth performance among the various feeding regimens. However, the low-energy diet group displayed slower growth rates compared to the other groups.
