Project Abstract
This research project aims to assess the impact of agricultural extension on the adoption of precision farming technologies among farmers. Precision farming technologies, such as GPS-guided machinery, remote sensing, and data analytics, have the potential to revolutionize agricultural practices by enabling farmers to make informed decisions based on real-time data. However, the adoption of these technologies among farmers remains relatively low. This study will investigate the role of agricultural extension services in promoting the adoption of precision farming technologies, identify barriers and facilitators to adoption, and provide recommendations for enhancing extension services in this area.
